Martin Buber

Martin Buber (1878-1965) was a monumental Austrian-born Jewish philosopher, theologian, and existentialist thinker. Best known for his philosophy of dialogue, Buber taught at the University of Frankfurt before fleeing Nazi Germany to settle in Jerusalem, where he became a professor at the Hebrew University. His profound insights into the nature of human relationships, spirituality, and community have heavily influenced 20th-century theology, psychology, and humanistic philosophy across all major religious traditions.
