About this ebook

There are two kinds of smart. School only teaches you to test for one.

Tight shoulders by mid-afternoon. Dreading Sunday night. Snapping at people who don't deserve it.

Those are early signals, and most people miss every one of them until exhaustion forces a boundary they should have set weeks ago.

Emotional Intelligence exists to catch signals like that before they become a crisis.

๐Ÿง  Two kinds of smart, and why school only trains you to measure one of them

๐Ÿงฉ Five specific skills, tracked across hospitals, trading floors, and classrooms, that predict how well you handle pressure and hold relationships together

๐Ÿ“ˆ What actually improves in your health, friendships, and career once these skills strengthen

๐Ÿ” Five daily habits that train emotional intelligence like a muscle, not a mystery

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Where empathy tips into exhaustion, and how to catch it before it costs you

No jargon. No fluff. Just the skill nobody sat you down and taught.

Get your copy. Catch the signal before it becomes the breakdown.

I like how the book sets a course leading to development EI. I've always been emotionally empathic towards others feelings. put yourself inside there shoes, and thinking outside the box are two quotes that motivated me to see different perspectives of others. some knowledge I will definitely try to pass on to my son.

It was a great read. I've been practicing EI, trying to make it a habit. One thing that stood out for me is 'Responding not Reacting'. I've had series of episodes lately in which I reacted and at times over reacted. My goal is to make a mental note, know my triggers and try to Respond instead of react.
