About this ebook

She was his once. He thought she destroyed him.

Benjamin Gunner didn’t partner up with his pals to build Jersey Iron Ranch just to look back. Focus, loyalty, and control—that’s his mantra.

He built it to burn his past to the ground—champion bulls, champion bloodlines, and a future far from the shadow of his ruthless father.

The last thing he needs is Esme Perona Gunner. She’s the ex he left behind, the woman he swore betrayed him.

But when she shows up at his ranch with unsigned divorce papers and fire in her eyes, she doesn’t bring closure—she brings chaos.

Esme isn’t broken. She’s furious. And she’s done letting Benji believe a lie that cost them everything.

She says he got it wrong. He says she betrayed him. But the truth might ruin them both.

Trusting her again could cost him his ranch, his future, and the war he’s already fighting against his father.

But when Benji gets close to Esme again—when he tastes what he lost—he realizes there are some things in life worth fighting for.

And for Esme?

Benji is willing to risk it all.

Esme and Benji are 3 years in the making. They were married, then his “friend” Paul tore them apart with lies, now their non- divorce and a stalker brings them back together again on the Jersey Iron Ranch . This is one of the best CD Gorri books out there. It brings together the Jersey Iron guys as well as some cameos by Sammy Ramirez and the gang. 5✨’s for a well written book, with great characters and lots of secrets revealed. I received an ARC from the author and choosing to review it.
