About this ebook

Spring in Jersey is sweet—until secrets make it dangerous.

Mary Donahue likes order. As a spirited first-grade teacher at a strict Catholic school, she has lesson plans for everything… except the brooding bodyguard who keeps showing up in her life.

Kai Montego is off duty and out of options. But when he sees the fiery redhead from the Valentine’s dance being harassed by a powerful school donor, instincts take over—and fists fly.

To cover the fallout, they agree to fake a relationship for the school’s spring fundraiser.

Easy. Harmless. Temporary.

Except Mary is everything Kai never knew he wanted—sharp, curvy, impossible to ignore—and pretending is getting harder by the second.

But danger’s not done with her yet, and Kai isn’t leaving her side.

One growly bodyguard.

One no-nonsense teacher.

One fake dating scheme about to get way too real.

This spring, love might just be the riskiest mission of all.

This is a fake date trope that just made me happy reading it. Kai is a bodyguard and every other word of his is a curse and Mary is a Catholic school teacher. I loved the banter between Kai and Mary. You know in your heart that these two were made for each other. Add in some nuns and a priest and a bad guy and it's one heck of a fun story. Fast paced, sweet, steamy, bit of action and I absolutely loved it. Best story ever!!

I loved everything about this story. Our hero who was adamant he wouldn’t fall in love is hit with a Cupids arrow, straight in the heart. The banter, witty and laugh-out-loud moments are felt throughout the book giving this storyline a fun read amidst the sizzling chemistry, drama and full-on romance. This is one not to be missed, as your heart will engage with the story and you won’t want it to end! Highly Recommended 5***** read.

Kai and Mary are meant to be together. He is a playboy with a smart mouth and she is a curvy first grade teacher with a lot of sass. Mary has a heart of gold and when the gym project is threatened Kai and all of the men of Sigma band together, along with a nun and a priest, to get the job done. I absolutely loved this story and highly recommend it!!
