About this ebook

Winter in New York is cold—until danger makes it burn.

Sabrina Rosetto lives for her students, her lesson plans, and the calm predictability of kindergarten life. But when a disturbing incident at her school turns into something more sinister, she finds herself the target of a threat she doesn’t understand and can’t outrun.

Enter Ego—real name Theodore Montego—Sigma International Security’s most intense operative, newly promoted and already questioning every decision that led him here. Protecting a soft-spoken, fiercely dedicated kindergarten teacher? This can’t be the assignment he trained for.

But Sabrina is full of surprises. Fierce. Funny. Gorgeous. And she’s getting under Ego’s skin in all the wrong ways—and all the right ones.

As the danger escalates, so does the heat between them. What starts as a protective detail quickly spirals into something deeper, darker, and far more dangerous for his heart.

One stoic bodyguard. One unexpected heroine. One icy city hiding a deadly secret.

This winter, survival isn’t the only thing on the line—love is too.

Addictive and Hot! A sexy bodyguard about to meet his fate in this super addictive read full of swoon-worthy moments. His protective instincts kicked in the moment he met her. As well as his suddenly hot feelings for her, he knew this assignment he never wanted was about to change his life. I loved this story! I read it like I was watching a suspenseful romantic movie, biting my fingernails as the suspense escalates. Ego is borderline stalkerish most of the time, but becomes unhinged action hero when Sabrina is taken. Sabrina is this smart, brave, curvy woman who can't comprehend Ego's interest in her past being just her bodyguard. I definitely recommend this swoon worthy, heart pumping, get out the fan, romantic story.

Second book in this series and by far my favorite thus far. Loved the chemistry between Ego and Sabrina. Why would someone want to hurt a kindergarten teacher? Well not on Ego's watch. With the assistance of his twin they will make the threat pay dearly. This story gives tons of action and danger, family betrayal, and off the charts smexy.
