Sin Tides

He bought a Florida dive bar to escape a cold case. Instead, he poured himself a glass of cartel vengeance.

After twenty years working NYPD homicide, Nick Holleran traded the blood-stained alleys of Brooklyn for the sun-bleached shores of Florida. All he wanted was to pour cheap beer at The Drunken Oyster and forget the ghost of a murdered girl whose unsolved case cost him his badge and his peace of mind.

But the sun-drenched coast hides its own monsters in the shadows.

When a local girl washes up in the mangroves with a crushed windpipe and a very specific, signature knot tied around her neck, Nick realizes his cold case killer has followed him south. Worse, his terrified new waitress, Sarah, is hiding a stolen digital ledger. That drive maps the financial arteries of a massive human trafficking syndicate run by an untouchable billionaire cartel boss, Rico Salazar.

Rico demands his ledger back. When Nick refuses, the cartel boss sends a private army to collect, burning Nick's sanctuary to the ground.

But Nick Holleran is done playing defense. Teaming up with a paranoid hacker and a grieving fisherman with a thirst for revenge, the retired detective wages a brutal, unauthorized vigilante war against the coastal syndicate.

As a devastating Category Four hurricane bears down on the Florida barrier islands, Nick takes the fight directly to the cartel's fortified mansion. Cut off from the mainland and the law, it’s a desperate, bloody standoff against a professional assassin, corrupt cops, and the destructive fury of the storm itself.
