About this ebook
Eleven-year-old orphan Pollyanna Whittier moves to Vermont to live with her stern and cold Aunt Polly, bringing her father's optimistic "Glad Game" to everyone she meets.
Through her unwavering cheerfulness, Pollyanna positively transforms the lives of townspeople, including a lonely millionaire, a bedridden woman, and a young orphan boy named Jimmy Bean.
Over time, Aunt Polly’s cold attitude softens as Pollyanna slowly brings warmth, life, and love into the quiet Harrington Mansion.
Tragedy strikes when Pollyanna is hit by a car, leaving her bedridden and facing the devastating news that she may never be able to walk again.
Devastated by her condition, the heartbroken townspeople gather to support her, helping Pollyanna regain her spirit through the very same game of happiness she taught them.
