About this ebook

Six years gone. One way home. And nothing waiting as he left it.

Alex Hawke never stopped hoping. Not through rescue missions, relay beacons, or years navigating the edges of civilization. Now, the explorer ship Magellan has done the impossible: it found Sol—the lost birthplace of Humanity.

But Earth isn’t what they expected. And neither is the welcome.

Moments after arrival, a failing U.S. space mission turns into a desperate rescue—and the face Alex sees in the wreckage is one he thought he’d never see again.

Old love. New purpose. And a homecoming that may cost everything.

Secrets unravel. Loyalties are tested. And history catches up with a vengeance.

Sol marks a major turning point in Shepherd Security Services—a story of found family, impossible returns, and the courage it takes to face the world you left behind.

But...

I have never wrote one of these before but today I feel I have to. books 7 in this series was for me a big disappointment the first six books I had a hard time putting down. I hope if a book is in the works it goes back to the original format. or I fear I will not be continuing with this series. I doubt anyone reads these but nonetheless you asked for reviews so this is mine. I am sorry this how feel at this time. I number 8 gets better or I will ot be continuing with it. thank you if you read this. I am sorry I c would not be more supportive but it is what it is. Zane gray

Kearns has turned Alex into a vindictive braggart. Struggling to get past the complete tool who drops his 'recordings' anytime someone takes exception. Welcome to yr 3.

These books need to be made into movies or a show of some type. I have pictured the crew in my brain, but I would love to see pictures of how they would look. More so, the ships and stations and planets. Thank you so much for the books.

About the author

Robert M. Kerns (or Rob if you ever meet him in person) is a geek, and he claims that label proudly. Beyond IT, Rob enjoys Science Fiction and Fantasy of (almost) all stripes. He is a voracious reader, with his favorite books too numerous to list.

Rob has been writing for over 20 years. He published his first novel in 2018 and has no plans to stop any time soon.
