About this ebook

What if your mid-life crisis sends you to another world? What if you “find yourself” but also find a dragon?

Rose Matthews is thought to be a woman who has everything. However, back in the 80s and 90s, Rose Matthews was an underappreciated mother and wife. She helped run a successful business and household, but never got help with that. Her husband was always on the go, and she wasn't sure if she had become a business partner rather than a lover and wife.

Sick of the hum-drum, Rose looks beyond her humanity to the bloodline running through her. As a child of dragon mages, she is tempted to throw off traditional values and allow herself to be pulled to the other world, where supernatural beings rule and life is anything but boring.

Will she find what she's looking for there? If she does, what will that do to her future in this world?

About the author

Rachel grew up in rural, small-town Alabama. Her writing grew from an exploration of the culture and the hidden nuances of that culture. She began writing at around the age of 11. Rachel’s escapism as a child grew her imagination and her spirit.

Having lived in North Carolina since 2007, she has helped raise three kids, worked in several fields, and had her adventures in life. She uses her own experiences and the settings familiar to her to create stories to write about; both fiction and non-fiction.

Rachel Adams writes multi-genre fiction and always adds supernatural, occult, gothic, and paranormal elements to her work. She loves non-standard relationships and diversity among the cultures of the characters she comes up with.

Rachel D. Adams and Dawn McClellan have been writing urban fantasy and fantasy stories together for decades! Meeting on the very first internet forums, groups, and clubs, they became fast-friends and collaborators. Together, they’ve written original fantasy, urban fantasy, sci-fi, and fan fiction together and with other hobby writers. They love writing all kinds of diverse characters, allowing those characters to drive the plots, while keeping true to their cultures. They began publishing their stories in 2021 thanks to some pushing from their family and friends.

Dawn McClellan was born and raised in South Texas. She wrangles her career in the medical field, writing, and being a mother, wife, and grandmother. Her inspiration comes from people in her life, especially powerful matriarchs and wicked, but loving and loyal men.

Enamored of the macabre, she’s always loved watching horror, and loves reading, writing, and exploring both country life and history. Compelled to confront the darkness that thrives in the absence of light, her writing is often built on the power and knowledge of the unspoken.
