About this ebook

The dragon left his best friend to rebuild after war. He never imagined war would come calling again.

Sebastian finally has Senias. The vampire and his dragon lover are settling into their life together. Despite hiding their true nature and human politics, the 19th century Carolinas have been good to them and their demonic friends.

One dream–one desperate call from the other side of the portal has the dragon considering a trip back through to help the lycan friends he left behind. Sen’s decision could shatter the trust he has with Sebastian, but if he doesn’t go, how many more lycan will die? Will his best friend survive?

Will the dragon leave the home he is making and the love of his life to help the pack that adopted him when he was in need? If he goes, will he make it back in time to save them from war? Or will he lose everything in both worlds?

About the author

Rachel grew up in rural, small-town Alabama. Her writing grew from an exploration of the culture and the hidden nuances of that culture. She began writing at around the age of 11. Rachel’s escapism as a child grew her imagination and her spirit. Her imagination helped her survive.

Having lived in North Carolina since 2007, she has helped raise three kids, worked in several fields, and had her adventures in life. She uses her own experiences and the settings familiar to her to create stories to write about; both fiction and non-fiction.

Rachel Adams writes multi-genre fiction and always adds supernatural, occult, gothic, and paranormal elements to her work. She loves non-standard relationships and diversity among the cultures of the characters she comes up with. She gets her love of these creative themes from her desire to break away from the oppression she has witnessed.

Rachel D. Adams and Dawn McClellan have been writing urban fantasy and fantasy stories together for decades! Meeting on the very first internet forums, groups, and clubs, they became fast-friends and collaborators. Together, they’ve written original fantasy, urban fantasy, sci-fi, and fan fiction together and with other hobby writers. They love writing all kinds of diverse characters, allowing those characters to drive the plots, while keeping true to their cultures. They began publishing their stories in 2021 thanks to some pushing from their family and friends.

Dawn was born and raised in South Texas. She wrangles her career in the medical field, writing, and being a mother, wife, and grandmother. Her inspiration comes from people in her life, especially powerful matriarchs and wicked, but loving and loyal men.

Enamored of the macabre, Dawn loves to read, write, explore the country life and explore history’s secrets. When not working on her writing, Dawn also loves to spend time with her grandbabies. She finds peace in the small moments, be it reading a book with them, playing in the park, roaming museums, or enjoying a homemade country breakfast.
