You have an AMT RMA date. Hold it. Between now and then: 556 questions with every option explained, two full-length 210-question practice exams, an 8-day plan. No login, no expiry.
We built this the way a medical-assisting instructor runs an exam review, not the way a shelf gets filled. AMT's own examination specifications name three work areas, and they are nowhere near equal. Clinical Medical Assisting is 115 of the 210 items, fifty-five percent of your score. General Medical Assisting, which holds anatomy, physiology, terminology, law and ethics, is 65 items. Administrative Medical Assisting is 30. Two hours covers all of it at a Pearson VUE seat. Half your eight days are clinical, and both practice exams run the whole 210. Check us against AMT's published specifications. We would rather you did.
What's inside
Two full-length practice exams at 210 questions. The same length as the paper you'll sit, with completely distinct items, so the second one measures what you learned instead of what you remembered.
556 original questions, all four options explained on every one. Four per question: the reason the key is right, and the specific error each of the other three options was built from.
An 8-day plan with no filler day. Body systems and terminology, scheduling and records, HIPAA and billing, asepsis, phlebotomy and ECG, vitals and injections, patient interaction and emergencies.
18 figures drawn for this exam. Phone triage, the order of draw, the claim lifecycle, blood-pressure zones, the chain of infection, and the IM injection sites.
A 24-question diagnostic and confidence marking. Under an hour tells you where you stand, and marking each answer sure or unsure separates knowing from guessing well.
A living edition. Corrections and outline-change updates for this edition cost nothing on the companion page. Maybe you have already tried a practice test that asked about things no clinic does any more. Give it three evenings. If the diagnostic does not surprise you once, put it down. An hour is all it cost.
Three readers find it useful. A student finishing a medical-assisting program and sitting the AMT paper. An assistant already working who needs the credential for a job or a state rule. Someone coming back after missing the line by a few marks. If you already run the front office, start at Day 5, where clinical procedures begin.
Day 2 is body systems for a whole evening, long after your last anatomy class. By exam day you'll see what the exam asks before the options try to talk you out of it. Downloaded once, yours to keep.
