4 1/2 stars for me. Noel was not a fan of relationships, until he saw Holly. He was to be her bodyguard to protect her from a stalker. I loved how he was willing to admit to himself that there was a connection between them, crossing the line between business and pleasure. He was very protective, very hot, and I enjoyed his positivity toward Holly. Holly was very good at her job, intelligent, and quite oblivious to how beautiful she was. As to the stalker, I guessed the wrong one.

C.D. Gorri is a new author to me. When I read the blurb for this book, I was intrigued. I enjoy romantic suspense stories and this was a good one. Especially since it was set around Christmas. From the first chapter I was hooked on Holly Winters and Noel Kane’s story. There were equal amounts of romance and suspense which was entertaining.The characters were easy to relate to and I really liked them.
