A watch face built for one job: to be readable, and to put help within reach.
The time fills the lower half of the face in large, high-contrast digits, so it can be read at arm's length without hunting for it. In the center sits a Help button in the same place every time. Tapping it opens Lanturne's HELP button.
WHAT IS ON THE FACE
• The time, large, with the day and date below it
• Help, in the center, always in the same place
• Battery and steps on the rim
• Sunrise or sunset and heart rate beside Help
The four smaller slots are ordinary complications. If you would rather see something else in one of them, press and hold the face and change it, the same way you would on any Wear OS watch face.
WHO IT IS FOR
Somebody who does not want to go looking for anything. Nothing here scrolls, nothing is hidden behind a swipe, and nothing moves. The Help button is in the middle of the face because in the moment it is needed, the middle is the only place worth looking.
It suits an older wearer, and anybody who prefers a watch face they can read without their glasses.
YOU NEED THE LANTURNE APP
The Help button opens Lanturne. Without the app installed, it has nothing to open.
Lanturne turns a smartwatch into a daily check-in and an alert: a family member sets it up on their phone, the person wearing the watch just wears it, and the family is told about a fall, an SOS, a missed check-in or a watch that has gone quiet. Search for Lanturne on Google Play.
WHAT THIS WATCH FACE DOES NOT DO
It draws the time and it opens an app. It does not detect anything, send anything or alert anybody. All of that belongs to the Lanturne app.
It reads no health data of its own. The heart rate and steps on the face are ordinary Wear OS complications, drawn by the platform from whatever provider the wearer has chosen, exactly as on any other face.
Lanturne is not a medical device or an emergency service.
