Sterling is a hybrid watch face with a brushed-silver look. Two faceted hands sweep over raised hour markers and slim numerals, and three recessed windows carry everything else: the date at the top, the battery at the bottom and a digital time on the left. On the right, two complications show your steps and your heart rate.
TWO COMPLICATIONS
- Upper row of the right window: arrives showing your step count
- Lower row: arrives showing your heart rate
Both are yours to change in Customize. Point either one at another data source, or leave it empty, and it shows that source's short value with the source's own icon - a number, a time, a temperature. They draw text, not progress arcs. A complication left empty shows the word SET.
WHAT ELSE IS ON THE DIAL
- Analog hands plus a digital time in 24-hour or 12-hour format, with AM or PM under the digits in 12-hour mode
- Weekday, day and month in the top window
- Battery in the bottom window: the percentage, and a segmented arc that fills with your charge
YOUR CHOICES IN CUSTOMIZE
- Color theme: Silver · Blue, Silver · Burgundy, Silver · Emerald, Silver · Violet or Silver · Copper. The hands, the center cap and the battery arc change color; the silver dial stays
- Time format: 24 hour, or 12 hour · AM/PM
ALWAYS-ON
The dimmed screen drops the silver dial and the complications. It keeps thin gray hands, twelve small hour dots, the date, the digital time and the battery percentage, on pure black.
GOOD TO KNOW
Needs Wear OS 5 or later. The dial and the Customize labels are in English. There is no companion phone app, no account, no ads and no subscription.
SETTING IT UP
