Ignite Digital Watch Face

Ignite is a bold digital dashboard for your wrist. Big angular time digits sit in the middle, with the weather and a three-day forecast above them and your steps, heart rate and distance below, all inside a bevelled black frame with a colored accent ring.

Weather needs one permission, once. Wear OS does not grant watch faces location access by default, so the temperature shows -- until you allow it: Settings > Security and privacy > Permission manager > Location > Watch faces > Allow while using the app. Everything else on the face - time, date, steps, heart rate, battery and distance - works the moment you install it.

WHAT IS ON THE DIAL

- Large digital time, in 24-hour or 12-hour format, with an AM/PM marker you can show or hide
- Weekday and date
- Current weather: a condition icon, the condition in words and the temperature. The icon follows day and night, so a clear night shows a moon, not a sun
- A three-day forecast: today and the next two days, each with an icon and the day's high
- Battery percentage inside a segmented ring
- Step count with a small activity bar
- Heart rate from your watch's sensor
- Distance, estimated from your steps (about 0.66 m per step), in kilometers or miles

The weather comes from your watch's own weather service, and it updates when the watch refreshes it.

YOUR CHOICES IN CUSTOMIZE

- Theme color: Orange, Blue, Mint, Red, Violet or White. The battery ring, the runner, the step count and the tick marks change together
- Time format: System, 24 hour or 12 hour (AM/PM)
- AM/PM marker: Show or Hide
- Distance units: Kilometers or Miles
- Temperature units: Celsius or Fahrenheit
- Always-on display: Clock, date and steps, or Clock only

ALWAYS-ON

On the dimmed screen the frame and the colors go dark. You keep the white time, plus the date and your step count if you choose the fuller view.

GOOD TO KNOW

The dial and the Customize labels are in English. There is no companion phone app, no account, no ads and no subscription.

SETTING IT UP

Buy it on your phone, then open the Play Store on your watch, where it is waiting in your library. Press and hold your current face, swipe to Ignite and tap it. Press and hold again and tap Customize to choose the color, the time format and the units.
