Crest Digital Watch Face

Crest sets a tall, ultra-thin digital clock above a single mountain peak. The date sits under the digits, the weather sits at the upper right, and three dotted rings along the bottom carry your steps, your heart rate and your battery. On the left, two complications are yours to fill.

Weather needs one permission, once. Wear OS does not grant watch faces location access by default, so the temperature shows --°C until you allow it: Settings > Security and privacy > Permission manager > Location > Watch faces > Allow while using the app. Everything else on the face - time, date, steps, heart rate and battery - works the moment you install it.

TWO COMPLICATIONS ON THE LEFT

- An app shortcut at nine o'clock: pick an app and its own icon sits there. Tap it to open the app. Until you pick one, Wear shows its + sign
- A complication just above it: starts empty. Give it any short reading - sunset, the next alarm, a world clock, a number - and it shows with its source's own icon, or show an icon on its own. It draws text, not progress arcs

Either one can be left empty, and an empty one draws nothing.

WHAT ELSE IS ON THE DIAL

- Hours and minutes in thin, tall digits, in 24-hour or 12-hour format. In 12-hour mode a small AM or PM sits between the colon dots
- Weekday, day and month under the clock
- Weather at the upper right: a small sky icon (sun, sun and cloud, or cloud) and the temperature, in Celsius or Fahrenheit
- Steps, heart rate and battery in three dotted rings

YOUR CHOICES IN CUSTOMIZE

- Background: Original summit, Alpine ridge, Volcanic summit, Slate peak or Granite crest - five mountain pictures in a photographic style
- Color theme: Copper, Ice, Gold, Lilac or Rose. The icons and the dotted rings change color; the digits stay white
- Time format: 24 hour, or 12 hour (AM/PM)
- Temperature unit: Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F)

ALWAYS-ON

The dimmed screen drops the mountain, the rings, the weather and the complications. It keeps the time, the date, your steps, heart rate and battery in gray on pure black.

GOOD TO KNOW

Needs Wear OS 5 or later. The dial and the Customize labels are in English. There is no companion phone app, no account, no ads and no subscription.

SETTING IT UP

Buy it on your phone, then open the Play Store on your watch, where it is waiting in your library. Press and hold your current face, swipe to Crest and tap it. Press and hold again and tap Customize to choose the background, the colors, the time format, the temperature unit and the two complications.
