About this ebook

A Child that was told from the beginning of her life that her mother died because of her, Kate had a lot of issues with talking to people. As a young child, she was looked down upon because even though she was from a good family in the small town she was too smart for her own good. She was often right on things most adults did not understand fully. However, a simple statement about inherited traits sent her life down a completely different path. When she returned to the states she had been asked to work in the area she had lived in once before. When a chance encounter at her place of employment brought her face to face with the one person she had never forgotten about. The one friend she had as a child. Although when asked, she lied and told him she had no idea who he was. That was until there was a problem and he was asked to watch over her.

She could not hide the fact from him when he walked into her house and saw a picture of him and her as children. That was when all hell broke loose in both of their lives. The truth normally starts when you go back to the beginning.
