About this ebook

After being banished from her kingdom, one faerie embarks on a dangerous journey to save everyone she loves, with the help of the last person she expected to find—the epic and darkly magical sequel to The Debtor’s Game.

In death there is banishment—and betrayal.

After surviving the Desert Walk, Avery awakens to find she has landed in the House of Death at the edge of the world. Still, dangerous High Fae secrets have followed her, and Avery must strike another bargain with the Death fae. This time, however, she doesn’t know who she’s working with or against. Then someone from her past returns, and the game changes completely.

With the help of allies and magic, Avery must traverse the haunted terrain of Amyria to reach her loved ones in time. Yet time and luck are never on a faerie’s side, though that hasn’t stopped her before. Encountering faces, histories, and stakes new and ancient, both Avery and the Valley rapidly transform. And not everyone will survive.
