The Scribe: A Romantic Fantasy Novel of Angels, Magic, and Fated Mates

Travel photographer Ava Matheson has spent twenty-nine years battling the whispering voices she hears in her mind. Convinced there’s something wrong but unable to find help, she seeks out remote places, trying to find comfort in solitude.

But when an unexpected appointment sends her to Istanbul, Ava is confronted by a new and dangerous reality. The man she thought was her bodyguard isn’t wholly human. He’s a supernatural warrior with one assignment: Keep Ava safe, and find out who—or what—she truly is.

Malachi is a warrior and scribe of the Irin people, an ancient group descended from fallen angels who use angelic magic to protect humanity from the demons that remain in the world.

But the Irin race is dying, and the soul mates who should be half of their battle are all but gone from the world. When Ava starts to show signs of Irina magic, Malachi must protect her and finally confront the tangled legacy of his people’s greatest loss.

From the sun-soaked streets of Istanbul to ancient, hidden libraries, The Scribe is a romantic and mystic journey into a world where magic is written in ink and love is written in the stars.

Perfect for readers of fantasy romance, ancient mysteries, and timeless love stories, Elizabeth Hunter’s The Scribe invites you to discover a world where passion and prophecy meet adventure.
