About this ebook

Every wedding tells the story of a beginning. Every anniversary tells the story of a promise faithfully kept.

Celebrating Love is a collection of twenty-five homilies for the major milestones of Christian marriage—from the joyful exchange of wedding vows to wedding anniversaries and the inspiring witness of fifty years of faithful love.

Written in a warm, Scripture-centered, and pastorally practical style, these reflections help proclaim the beauty of the Sacrament of Marriage in a way that speaks to the hearts of today's couples and families. Each homily invites listeners to discover that Christian marriage is more than a celebration of love—it is a lifelong vocation of faith, forgiveness, sacrifice, prayer, and hope.

Organized into three carefully crafted sections, this volume includes:

• 15 Wedding Homilies for the celebration of Christian marriage

• 5 Wedding Anniversary Homilies for the renewal of marital commitment

• 5 Golden Wedding Anniversary Homilies honoring fifty years of faithful love

Ideal for:

- Priests and deacons preparing wedding or anniversary homilies

- Seminarians developing their preaching ministry

- Pastoral ministers serving engaged and married couples

- Married couples seeking spiritual reflection on their vocation

- Anyone who wishes to deepen their appreciation of God's plan for marriage and family life

Rather than offering ready-made speeches alone, Celebrating Love presents timeless reflections rooted in Sacred Scripture and the lived experience of Christian families. Each homily may be preached as written or adapted to the unique story of every couple.

Whether celebrating the excitement of a wedding day, the gratitude of an anniversary, or the remarkable witness of a golden jubilee, these pages proclaim one enduring truth:

When Christ remains at the center, love grows deeper, faith grows stronger, and every marriage becomes a living reflection of God's faithful love.

Celebrating Love is a companion for those entrusted with preaching, a source of encouragement for married couples, and a joyful celebration of the vocation to love.
