Each homily begins with a simple story, image, or life experience before unfolding the message of the Sunday Gospel in a practical, pastoral, and spiritually enriching way. Written in a clear and accessible style, the reflections challenge readers not only to understand Scripture but also to live it with greater faith, compassion, and courage.
Ideal for priests, deacons, seminarians, lay preachers, Bible-sharing groups, and all who seek to deepen their love for God's Word, Breaking the Word serves as both a preaching resource and a companion for personal prayer and reflection throughout the liturgical year.
Whether preparing a homily, leading a faith-sharing group, or simply searching for a deeper encounter with the Sunday Gospel, this volume reminds us that the Word of God is not meant merely to be heard—it is meant to be broken open, lived, and proclaimed.
