About this ebook
A poignant coming-of-age story where two opposites learn new depths about friendship and first-love
“An intelligent, fast-paced present-tense narration . . . which will resonate with readers attracted to bittersweet and tear-jerking romances.”—Kirkus Reviews
“As a realistic portrayal of first love and BFF betrayal, this hits the mark.”—BCCB
Best friends Lani and Erin couldn’t be more different. Lani’s reserved and thoughtful; Erin’s bubbly and outgoing. Lani likes to do her own thing; Erin prefers an entourage. There’s no possible way they could be interested in the same guy.
So when Erin starts dating Jason, Lani can’t believe she feels such a deep connection with him—and it may be mutual. The more Lani fights it, the more certain she feels that it’s her fate to be with Jason. But what do you do if your soul mate is your best friend’s boyfriend?

Something Like Fate is just so amazing is goes beyond words to describe it. It takes you away from real life and you feel for the characters and what's happening. You relate to them like you're their close friend. I love this book so much. I've read it over eight times at least with the physical copy and recommend it to anyone who loves a good teen romance. It really is a phenomenal story.

I swear, this was the best book I ever read. I seriously cried when I finished it because it was such a good book. Unexpected things come along for her and then the ending is perfect! I would read it over and over!
