You have an ASWB Clinical date. Hold it. Between now and then: 541 questions with every option explained, three timed 122-item practice exams, a 12-day plan that opens on ethics. No login, no expiry.
We built this the way a clinical supervisor runs a licensure seminar, not the way a shelf gets filled. It starts from ASWB's blueprint effective 3 August 2026. The sitting is 122 items in four hours, 110 scored, 12 seeded pretest items you cannot pick out. Three content areas replaced the old four. Professional Values, Ethics and Regulation now carries 36 percent; Assessment, Diagnosis and Treatment Planning and Clinical Practice, Intervention and Case Management take 32 each. Your twelve evenings go four to each area, which is how the exam tests them. Check us against ASWB's published content outline. We would rather you did.
What's inside
541 original questions, every option explained. You leave each item knowing why the defensible action wins, and why the three that also sound professional lose.
Three full-length practice exams at 122 items. Rehearsing at the current length, rather than the retired 170, is what makes the real appointment feel ordinary.
A 25-item diagnostic weighted 36, 32, 32. It waits near the end, as a last calibration rather than a cold guess on day one.
Two cumulative reviews of 15 items. The first closes ethics and assessment together; the second drags all three areas back through Day 12.
Ten reference cards. The ethical decision sequence, the duty-to-warn trigger test, boundary crossing against boundary violation, the mental status exam domains.
Original vignettes only. This book reproduces no live ASWB item and copies no DSM-5-TR criteria text. Maybe you have bought a review book that turned out to be the retired four-domain outline with a quiz at the back. Give it three evenings. If the ethics days tell you nothing you did not already know, put it down. An evening is all it cost.
Three people get the most out of it. An MSW graduate sitting the Clinical exam for the first time. A clinician whose employer wants the LCSW on paper. Someone back for a second attempt who wants the live outline. If ethics and risk are already your day job, start at Day 5.
Day 6 is risk assessment, and it is the hardest evening here. You'll find the vignettes stop reading like traps afterwards. Downloaded once, yours to keep.
