About this ebook

Generous and kind Mr. Kou invited the pilgrims to stay for a long time. Although the Kou family tried hard to keep them there, Xuanzang was determined to leave. After the team left, Mr. Kou was killed by a group of bandits breaking into his house. Resenting Xuanzang for being “ungrateful,” Mrs. Kou framed Xuanzang and his disciples for the crime and brought charges against them. The next day, the team was released from prison with apologies. The monkey brought Mr. Kou back from the dead so the truth could come out.
