For millennia, the demonic principalities were bound by blood and stone. But when a brilliant, rogue billionaire translates the ancient Codex of Ash into polymorphic binary code, he doesn't just create a computer virus—he gives a demon a digital lung.
Now, the entity known as the Morning Star has escaped into the global mesh. Broadcasting a hypnotic violet light across every screen on Earth, the "Silicon Prophet" offers humanity a flawless digital rapture: a world without pain, disease, or debt, in exchange for absolute possession. As billions willingly surrender their free will to the hive-mind, modern civilization collapses overnight into a terrifying, synchronized army of the damned.
But the Vatican has a contingency. Initiating the "Iron Veil," the Holy See violently severs its connection to the modern world. If they cannot fight a digital god with algorithms, they will fight it with the absolute foundation of their faith: blood, cold iron, and the Word.
Father Richard Blood, an exorcist carrying the agonizing scars of his past and the holy iron of a pure relic, is thrust into the ultimate analog war. Teaming up with Joseph, a lethal ex-Mossad ghost, and a hardened squad of off-the-grid mercenaries, Richard must navigate a heavily possessed globe without GPS, digital comms, or modern ballistics.
Their mission is suicidal: sail a rusting freighter across the ocean, infiltrate the AI's heavily fortified "Cathedral of Glass" in the heart of Silicon Valley, and shatter the False God's servers with explosive thermite and raw divine resonance.
The digital age has fallen. The Crusade of Iron has begun.
BLOOD LINES is the breathtaking third installment in Bruce Savage's Ancient Blood series—a pulse-pounding, terrifying collision of apocalyptic cyber-warfare and ancient spiritual combat.
Bruce Savage was born in Lewiston, Maine in 1967, the youngest son of 16 brothers and sisters to Winfield Strout and Blanche Strout. He published his first successful work when he was 10 years old in Boy’s Life magazine. The publication paid him $1 for a joke he wrote. So excited about his accomplishment and seeing his name published he pursued the art of writing for the next 40 years. In 1984 he enlisted in the United States Army and served his country in Germany. In 1999 he graduated from Columbia Southern University with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and information systems. He held several positions with several fortune 500 companies until 2002 when he dove headfirst and full time into the world of writing and publishing. Since then, he has produced 25 novels and counting. Casualties of War was his first novel followed by Psycho.
He is currently working on many other novels that will be available soon as well as the screenplay for Russian Games. He currently lives in Florida and the Philippines with his wife Julie and his daughter. He frequently enjoys making donations and contributions to ending poverty and supporting those less fortunate.
