Stunning romance! I haven't read this author before, and I'm seriously wondering why and what I've been missing out on. This book was intense beyond words, raunchy in all the best ways, filled with such an amazing connection between these two main characters that they nearly burn the world down around them! Arsen and Reverie, the Dark Stallion and his Dream Girl, simply rewrite all the rules of romance as they figure out first just who the other person really is (fake names notwithstanding) then just how they're going to solve the problem they've created for themselves. I can't remember the last time I've read a romance where the main characters are so recklessly perfect for each other. This book is such a beautiful blend of complex situations and emotions. Utterly enthralling to watch them alternating between their immersive escapist fantasy world and the stark reality they have to face in the real world. Oh, and did I mention it starts with the weirdest kidnapping I've ever read? So much fun, so many surprises, such lovely layers in each character and situation. I simply could not have loved this book more. Reading it was an immersive experience like no other, and I highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for a romance that will knock their socks off.

Wow, what a read. This book is an intense, dark, steamy and oh, so deliciously twisted romance that had me glued to the pages and devouring every word feverishly. Be prepared, have snacks and your preferred beverage of choice and hold on and dive in. Your emotions, feels, heart and temperature are all in for an Olympic level workout. A total stunner!
