This is the 4th book of the series and it is a thing of beauty. The writing, the plot, the characters - do not disappoint. The world is vivid and alive. The reader becomes immersed in it. This book is long and more emotional than usual due to the nature of main characters - loss, death and grief. I liked the parallels between chains and life - as a reader, makes you stop and think. I liked reading the different POVs from the same situation from different characters Recommended.

This is both a love story between the angel of death Ace and Emma a paramedic in Boston and the tale of what happens when you do the wrong thing for the right reasons. It also connects the other stories in the series and sets it up for the next reckoning between all of the FRU and whatever entity is within the depths. 4✨’s for a well written story with heat and heart. I received a copy of this book from the author and I am choosing to leave this review.

Absolutely loved this one so much. The main characters were amazing. This story was intense and loving. I loved the world building and the description. The emt and death. Loved that storyline. And the way they came together was phenomenal. Healing through sexual contact. Different, but it worked. I really loved being able to read this one.
