About this ebook
When Lynn Monroe rolls into town ahead of her film crew, she’s determined to make this Christmas special her comeback. The host of Recreation Renovation, Lynn is fixing up more than an old airstream trailer park — she’s rebuilding her life after a messy divorce that split her family and her show in two. With her fourteen-year-old daughter, Tansy, by her side, Lynn wants one thing this holiday season: to prove she can stand on her own.
Enter Ray Landrum — once an Emmy-winning TV director, now a reluctant small-town orchard owner. He’s only agreed to direct Lynn’s show as a favor to his old college buddy, Brian, the show’s producer. But when he meets the determined, sharp-witted host with a camera-ready smile, Ray realizes this “favor” might just reroute his life.
As Lynn and Ray juggle construction mishaps, holiday deadlines, and Mother Nature, the cozy town of Wonder Ridge becomes the backdrop for unexpected magic, and unexpected feelings.
By the time the Holiday Showdown goes live on Christmas Day, Lynn will have to decide if risking her heart again is worth the greatest reveal of all.
A heartwarming, closed-door romance about second chances, small towns, and the love stories we rebuild — one nail, one smile, one Christmas light at a time.
