I’m honored when the Tyler Creek Park and Recreation District ask me to run the Christmas at the Caverns holiday market. As the owner of the Snowdrift Christmas Shop in downtown Tyler Creek, Christmas is my business and my life.

Unfortunately, the "enchanted" caverns where the holiday market is held are proving to be cursed instead. Two weeks into December and the Santas keep quitting on me. Whether it be illness, a minor accident, or a scheduling mishap, I can't keep a single holly-jolly behind in Santa's sleigh.

When my friend and fellow shop owner, Liv, suggests her brother Luca for the Santa position, I have to question Liv's intentions. Luca hates Christmas and everyone in Tyler Creek knows it. In fact, despite going on three wonderful dates, Luca and I decided we could never work because of his distaste for my absolute favorite thing.

Yet, when he survives and apparently enjoys his first time playing Santa, I begin to wonder if Luca and I might get a second chance at love. It would be my Christmas wish come true.

There are a few bumps in the road in the story. The characters have different personalities and outlooks on the holidays which makes for very interesting reading. Quirky and fun story based in a small town. Good read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Frankie loves Christmas. She's made a career out of it. When her Santa's keep leaving she gets desperate. Liv, her friend volunteers Luca. Slight problem though. Luca has a HUGE problem with anything Christmas. How is this going to work? Why does he avoid all things Christmas? Can Frankie help him get past it? Do they have a chance? I've read several books written by Roxie Clarke; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the second book in the Tyler Creek Series; it is a stand-alone short story. The story is about Frankie & Luca; he’s her best friend’s brother. They dated briefly but because she loves the holidays, but he doesn’t. Now she’s asked to run the holiday celebration; maybe they have a second chance when he agrees to be Santa. Roxie Clarke writes low-angst sweet and clean small town romance featuring hunky heroes and happily ever afters. She lives outside of Portland, OR with her husband and their five kids. It is loud at her house.
