Your ARDMS SPI date is on the calendar. Before it arrives: 486 questions with every option explained, three timed 110-item practice exams, a 10-day plan cut from the V24.1 outline. No login, no expiry.
We built this the way a physics instructor runs a registry review, not the way a shelf gets filled. SPI gives you 110 items in two hours. 100 count; 10 are pretest items you cannot tell from the rest. The V24.1 outline sets the weights. Apply Doppler Concepts takes 34 percent, Optimize Sonographic Images 26, Perform Ultrasound Examinations 23. Clinical Safety and Quality Assurance is 10, Manage Ultrasound Transducers 7. Your ten days carry those weights, and so does every practice exam. Check us against ARDMS's published outline. We would rather you did.
What's inside
486 original questions, written for this book. Every option is explained, so a miss returns the physics you were short of.
Three timed practice exams at 110 items, the exam's real length. You cannot spot the pretest items on the day, so you work all 110 as scored.
Every calculation worked end to end: wavelength and propagation speed, pulse repetition frequency, duty factor, attenuation in decibels, Doppler shift, the Nyquist limit.
Artifacts traced to their physics. Shadowing, reverberation, mirror image and side lobes, each tied to the beam-path assumption the machine has broken. The exam asks you to name one from a description.
Transducers and knobology in plain words: array types, focusing, frequency choice, gain against output power, and what each knob costs.
A 26-item diagnostic and two cumulative reviews of 15, so Day 2 wavelength work is still sharp when Day 9 needs it. Maybe you bought a physics book before that turned out to be equations with a quiz behind them. Give this one three evenings. Work the Day 7 Doppler problems and check your arithmetic against the worked steps. If none of it is news to you, put it down. An hour is all it cost.
Three readers use this one. A sonography student in a final didactic or clinical semester. A sonographer clearing the physics prerequisite before a specialty registry. Someone returning after a first attempt that came apart in Doppler. If wave physics is fresh from your program, start at Day 4.
Day 8 is the hard one. Aliasing, PRF and the Nyquist limit land together. You'll find they stop moving by the end of the quiz. Downloaded once, yours to keep.
