You have an MLS(ASCP) date. Hold it. Between now and then: 480 questions with every option explained, three practice exams at the real 100-item length, a 12-day plan. No login, no expiry.
We built this the way a bench supervisor runs a review, not the way a shelf gets filled. The Board of Certification exam is adaptive: 100 single-answer items in 2 hours 30 minutes. Four areas carry 19 percent each, which is most of the paper. Blood banking, chemistry, hematology and microbiology are those four. Urinalysis and other body fluids, immunology and laboratory operations take 8 percent each. Your twelve evenings follow the same split. Check us against ASCP's published content guideline. We would rather you did.
What's inside
480 original questions, every option explained. The reasoning for the right option, and the flaw in each of the other three.
Three papers at the exam's 100-item length, sat end to end, with a review after each that sends you back to the days you missed.
A 30-question diagnostic that sorts the seven areas by how much they need you, before you spend an evening at the wrong bench.
Calculations worked through, not just named. Red cell indices, corrected reticulocyte count, anion gap, creatinine clearance, corrected count increment.
Result patterns you have to read. Antibody identification panels, Gram stain and identification logic, susceptibility interpretation, electrophoresis and enzyme patterns, body-fluid differentials.
Short blocks, one idea per screen. Each day opens cold with a self-test before you read a word, then a quick recall of yesterday. Maybe you have already bought a review that turned out to be someone's lecture notes with a quiz behind them. Give this one three evenings. When the diagnostic finds no gap you could not have named yourself, put it down. An hour is all it cost.
Three readers were in mind when it was written. A student finishing a NAACLS program and sitting the Board of Certification. A technician moving up from MLT. An internationally educated scientist aiming at the United States credential. If the blood bank is already your day job, start at Day 9.
Day 10 is parasites, fungi and mycobacteria in one sitting, and it is a long evening. You will finish it anyway, and you'll find the exam asks for less than you fear there. Downloaded once, yours to keep.
