About this ebook

Winter has arrived.

After awakening the Fifth Gate, Kouassi and his companions leave the southern rainforest

behind and travel toward the Frozen Sea, where ancient legends speak of a kingdom buried

beneath ice.

The Sixth Gate has remained silent for centuries.

Some believe it was lost.

Others believe it was never meant to be found again.

But something beneath the frozen ocean has begun to awaken.

As the Ash Circle races north with the Crimson Core, forgotten kingdoms, wandering

explorers, and mysterious Guardians emerge from history.

This time, Kouassi will learn that memory alone cannot protect the future.

Sometimes...

Hope is the only path forward.

Winter has arrived. After awakening the Fifth Gate, Kouassi and his companions leave the southern rainforest behind and travel toward the Frozen Sea, where ancient legends speak of a kingdom buried beneath ice. I really enjoyed the conversations in this chapter. They don’t feel like dialogue written just to explain the plot; they actually sound like people talking. The awkward pauses, jokes, disagreements, and little comments make the characters feel more real. I’d love to see even more interaction between the main group because their personalities work really well together.

“That chapter ending was WILD. I thought I finally understood where the story was going, and then you completely changed the situation. I actually had to go back and reread the last few pages because I was like, ‘WAIT… DID THAT REALLY HAPPEN?’ Definitely keeping me curious for the next chapter

I’m really enjoying the way the story presents information gradually. Every time I think I understand how something works, another detail appears that changes the context. It doesn’t feel like random confusion, though, because there are enough clues to keep everything connected. I like being able to form my own theories while still knowing that the story has information I haven’t discovered yet. That creates a really satisfying feeling when a small detail suddenly makes sense. I’m especially curious about the information that has been mentioned several times but never fully explained. Something tells me that will matter later. 🤔
