About this ebook

Rera knows it's only a matter of time before her secrets can no longer be hidden...

With more people learning the truth about her Ma'at Blessing, Rera has to decide whether to tell the one person she thinks will never understand, or to keep hiding it from him. But with no way of knowing how Zet might respond, she worries about the consequences.

At least matters of the heart seem a little more settled for her...until she realises that being back in the world of the temples means a whole new set of pressures, especially those that come with dating a Legacy Blessed.

With the pressure mounting, Rera has to decide which of her allies can be trusted.

The Truth About Justice is book five in the Scales of Justice series, an urban fantasy series based on Egyptian mythology and set in the same world as The Apprentice of Anubis.

If you love Egyptian mythology, alternative versions of the modern day, temple politics, slow-burn workplace romance, and a world where the gods are real, then the Scales of Justice series is for you!

Truth revealed! Rera and her sister are moving to the Temple of Ma'at; a vast upgrade from their old neighborhood. Meri will attend the best school on Temple Street, and Rera and Ben are happy together in spite of Mekara’s attitude. Rera knows she must tell Zet that she is Ma’at Blessed before he learns it for someone else. Will he hate her? This is modern Egyptian mythology at its best. I received an advance copy, but my review is honest and voluntary.

Rera finally gets to settle more into her blessing side of life as she moves officially into the temple with her sister. But of course that causes some trouble that was fun to watch play out. Between drama in her home life and temple drama to deal with I was entertained the whole time. But get to see more of Meri and how she is dealing with everything. Laughed a few times and sighed but overall enjoyed it all.

I like the way Rera takes care of her sister. I think that her sister is starting to understand how much her sister loves her and wants to take care of her. I enjoy reading these stories. Just every day life. It may be a different dimension but still just every day life. I don't know what will happen to Zet with this new development from before. Will he try to blackmail her or what. I can't wait to see what happens.
