About this ebook

Rera is about to discover she's a walking contradiction - a thief who works for the goddess of justice.

While on the run, Rera accidentally stumbles into a sacred ceremony and the unthinkable happens - Ma'at chooses her to be one of her priestesses.

After having only gotten by thanks to thieving, moving into the temple is a shock for Rera, especially when she's paired with another trainee priestess who makes it clear she wants nothing to do with her.

But there are plots stirring in London, and Rera's old life is about to come crashing into her new one.

No Justice For Thieves is book one in Scales Of Justice, an urban fantasy series based on Egyptian mythology and set in the same world as The Apprentice Of Anubis.

If you love Egyptian mythology, alternative versions of the modern day, temple politics, slow-burn workplace romance, and a world where the gods are real, then the Scales Of Justice series is for you!

A thief becoming Ma’at Blessed. That’s a life twist or a cosmic joke, maybe both. Poor Rera caught between the proverbial rock and a hard place. And yet I think maybe all things considered she’d much rather serve truth than lies. I very much enjoyed this new story in the Apprentice of Anubis world. I thought it was super creative and so cool how Ma’at chooses her Blessed. I’m so curious as to what Ben is really up to and whether he is trustworthy or not. While I don’t envy her the double life sh

Robbing the gods. Rera and her friend Zet steal from a temple but fear of getting caught drives Rera to hide among the initiates at the Day of Choosing. She is chosen by Ma’at to be her priestess. Will she be Blessed or resume her life as a thief? This is an exciting storyline. It seems like there could be a romance in Rera’s future. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

I'm voluntarily leaving a review after receiving a free copy. I liked the irony in this book. Rera being blessed by Ma'at while being a thief is strange. However the job she is given is even more strange and puts her in a difficult position. I'm curious about Ben.
