Growing into her role. Evie and Nate have her parent’s permission for their relationship and explore a future together. The queen orders training and wardrobe for Nate to groom him for a future at the castle. Evie and her sister, Veronica, are tasked with escorting the Shengda ambassador’s daughter during their visit. Evie’s reluctance is overcome when a common interest in food makes conversation easier. This is an enjoyable coming-of-age romance as Evie and Nate move to a new level.

Nate & Evie are an amazing couple bringing the best out of each other. Nate has made the decision to become Evie's husband, by doing the items the Queen wants him to do & I feel this will make their relationship blossom. I adore how they have this connection to other. I wonder what will happen in the future.... I thoroughly liked this arc from Laura.

Evie is growing. She and Nate are getting closer also. I do wonder if the two of them will have a place of their own or stay at the castle after they get married. Showing the young daughter around is giving Evie more in social maters it seems. She is more open with her. I think Evie has a new friend. The recipe sounds very good. Not sure about the salted eye yoke.
