Paige did not have many friends at the university she worked for. Though she often would try she had learned that she was just better by herself. It always seemed that way to her as well. Though she also worked with three of her brothers she was not close to any of them. It was not something she really cared about. the family was not close.

Surprised one day with an invitation to a bonfire on the beach that was being hosted by one of her brothers she accepted and knew it would be a nice little getaway for her and her adopted kids. It was not a surprise when some of the co-workers they had were also there. However, the night was going to take a turn for the worse. A group of friends for one of her brothers was also there and they had a history of going after Paige when they could.

That was when one of the co-workers that was there shocked her and never left her side. He was the first one to see the problems that were there and also he could figure out the end game. A night at the beach could turn deadly at any moment but with him there would it?
