Slingshot

David Shepherd, haunted by a battlefield trauma, finds solace helping injured and homeless veterans.

But a viral video of him confronting a powerful politician sparks a movement. A movement that gains momentum thanks to a fiery prophecy by an enigmatic preacher.

David finds himself thrust into a high-stakes political race he never wanted.

His message of compassion and reform ignites the public imagination, but it also triggers a desperate response from those who fear change.

As David's popularity grows, so do the threats. His investigation into corruption leads him down a dark path, where truth hides behind a veil of bullets and betrayal.

Can David survive long enough to expose the conspiracy and become the leader he didn't ask to be?

Slingshot is the first book in this fast-paced, action-packed Christian thriller series. Think David Baldacci, James Patterson, Mark Dawson, and Lee Child meet Colleen Coble, and Lynette Eason. This is a modern-day re-telling of the King David story. The establishment will stop at nothing to stop David Shepherd's rise to power - and assassination isn't off the table.
