A must read from a spectacular author, Andrews will have you turning the pages from cover to cover. It has been a long while since I've had the delight of such twists and turns within a story, they simply outdid themselves. I cannot wait to read the next installment. Highly recommend!!

Really excellent. 10/10 no notes. So so so many delightful moments. It's the kind of book that, after you've read it, makes you wish you could relive the experience of reading it for the first time again!! Content warnings tho: some pretty gruesome violence & mentions of sa, depression, ptsd

Epic. Finished the audio book the day of release and then dived into the written. The only problem is the wait for book 2. I guess I'll head back to the Inheritance. I haven't quite memorized it yet. I need a second book on that too. Love all the characters.

Ilona Andrews is the pseudonym for a husband-and-wife writing team. Ilona is a native-born Russian and Gordon is a former communications sergeant in the U.S. Army. Contrary to popular belief, Gordon was never an intelligence officer with a license to kill, and Ilona was never the mysterious Russian spy who seduced him. They met in college, in English Composition 101, where Ilona got a better grade. (Gordon is still sore about that.)
