About this ebook
Damage is done. Chaos has won.
Seven Gates of Destiny is a fierce, apocalyptic poetry collection that shatters the polite boundaries of contemporary literature. Blending ancient archetypes with raw urban realism, Darren Hobson structures a sweeping, narrative-driven fable around humanity housed in an "impossible room"—walled off by seven mirrors, protected by mythic guardians, and hunted by seven encroaching demons.
Do not expect safe, comfortable aesthetics. In this unyielding collection of modern urban ballads, the lines between folklore and reality blur violently. Hobson channels a propulsive, stream-of-consciousness rhythm to document absolute systemic collapse, juxtaposing a whimsical world of seamstresses and builders with the harrowing, graphic realities of cyber-stalking, unchecked cruelty, and institutional failure.
There is no easy redemption or comforting moral lesson here; despite the guardians' best efforts, modern vices ensure complete devastation. Written with blunt, unpolished free verse, Hobson deploys his signature dark humour as both a weapon and a shield against a crumbling world. This is a visceral, post-punk transmission for those brave enough to look into the shattered glass.

For its genre, it's definitely spectacular. It helps people be more aware of the things that are happening. I can't recommend it for everyone though, only for the ones who can think and understand deeply.
