Dragon of the Deep

Branded as bad luck and bound to her barren island home by the superstition of skalds and sailors alike, Emelya has no future...until she risks her life to save a storm-tossed longship and boldly challenges formidable—and dangerously compelling—Captain Ragnar to let her prove her worth.

But what begins as a desperate gamble soon becomes the adventure of a lifetime, for the crew is hunting a legendary colossal dragon—a mythic beast said to bear the old gods' blessing. Only Prince Erik, the devastatingly handsome (and charming) son of an ailing king, believes the myths are true...just as he believes Emelya may be the key to helping him unlock their ancient power.

As the longship sails farther north, storms rage, monsters rise from icy depths, and the line between legend and death grows perilously thin...and Emelya finds herself caught between an ancient power meant for kings and the love of two men that could bring ruin to them all.

By the dragon's choosing, Queens will rise and Kingdoms will shatter.
