I love how this series has introduced us to the various mythological creatures of the world. A lot of research must have gone into finding these animals and their characteristics. If you haven't seen a Peryton, there are pictures on the internet. This is the penultimate book in the series. Charlotte and Felicity are looking for a place to live together, but Felicity seem reluctant. Charlotte wonders if this may have something to do with a text Felicity received from someone in their past.

A fawning here we go The second to last book in The Griffin Sanctuary series, a sanctuary for mythical beasts of all shapes and sizes. This book is about perytons, a hybrid half deer half bird animal living in the sanctuary. There's a crisis on hand because it's fawning season for the perytons and Charlotte is thrown into the midst of the turmoil. Charlotte and Felicity are going well but an unexpected visit from an unsavory character makes a re-appearance throwing the future of their relationship in jeopardy. Things only get worse because of Charlotte's insecurities and over-analyses everything even her ability to be a good vet. A cliffhanger of sorts? Thank you to the author for a complimentary copy.

Well one crisis taken care of and another one brewing. Things just keep getting worked up. Babies are popping up. New responsibilities with them. Good story, some worrying but being handled.
