About this audiobook
Neem Karoli Baba was one of the most beloved spiritual figures of modern India, revered by devotees as a saint whose life was marked by humility, compassion, and extraordinary devotion to God. Though he left behind no formal organization of his own and wrote no books, his influence spread across India and eventually around the world through the lives he touched and the spiritual inspiration he provided.
Born in northern India around the beginning of the twentieth century, Neem Karoli Baba lived much of his life as a wandering holy man before becoming associated with a number of ashrams, particularly those at Kainchi Dham and Vrindavan. Known simply as "Maharaj-ji" to his followers, he emphasized service, devotion, feeding others, remembrance of God, and love for all living beings. His teachings were often expressed through simple words and practical examples rather than lengthy philosophical discussions.
This audiobook explores the life, teachings, stories, and enduring legacy of Neem Karoli Baba. Drawing upon memoirs, historical accounts, eyewitness recollections, and devotional literature, it presents the story of a remarkable saint whose message of love, service, faith, and devotion continues to inspire spiritual seekers throughout the world.
