The Witch Ledger
About this audiobook
Set in 1692 during the infamous Salem witch trials, The Witch Ledger is a gripping historical fiction novel about fear, power, and the dangerous cost of truth. In Salem, hysteria spreads as accusations of witchcraft tear through the town. But when a merchant’s wife begins secretly recording the names of the accused alongside disputed land claims and inheritance lines, she uncovers a chilling pattern: the trials may be masking calculated land theft.
As executions loom and suspicion tightens its grip, exposing the truth could destroy her family—or cost her life. With richly detailed colonial atmosphere, courtroom drama, and a slow-burning mystery rooted in real history, The Witch Ledger explores how greed and fear can disguise themselves as righteousness.
Perfect for readers of historical suspense, colonial American fiction, and stories of courageous women who defy injustice, this novel blends meticulous research with emotional depth.
