About this audiobook
The Disappearing Room – A Gripping Psychological Thriller Set in Prague
When travel blogger Mara Ellison checks into a historic European hotel, she expects cobblestone charm and gothic beauty. Instead, she wakes to find her entire room—its antique furniture, gramophone, photographs, even the staff’s memory of it—erased from existence.
Was she drugged? Hallucinating? Or caught in something far more dangerous?
As Mara digs deeper, she uncovers whispers of Cold War secrets, vanished journalists, and a political assassination that powerful forces still want buried. Chased by mysterious men in gray coats and dismissed as delusional by police, she realizes the truth: she is the last witness to a conspiracy designed to disappear both people and history itself.
Perfect for fans of The Silent Patient, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and Behind Closed Doors, The Disappearing Room blends psychological suspense, historical intrigue, and a relentless mystery that will keep readers turning pages late into the night.
Discover a haunting thriller where memory is fragile, truth is dangerous, and some rooms are never meant to be found.
