Halo: Edge of Dawn: A Master Chief Story

Best thing about the audiobook was the voice actors being present. Close second were the interpersonal stories. Unfortunately, much like Infinite, the overall story/narrative is fairly lackluster. Not as many fight scenes as most other Halo novels. It sets up a fairly obvious continuation of the story with little mystery behind what could happen, in my opinion. 343/Halo Studios seemed to have taken very little risk with what this book could do to further the story/set up for the next game, thus it fell short in some aspects.

I'm not too happy with this book. it feels like a concluding story that should have been part of the Halo infinite game. To top it off it ends in the middle of a sentence it feels like, it does not have a real true ending.

Loved the narration by the voice actors. However the story is a slight letdown, it feels like this should've been the dlc for infinite. I am looking forward to the continuation of the zeta halo story
