Wayne Gordon

Wayne "Coach" Gordon is the founding pastor and now Pastor Emeritus of Lawndale Community Church in Chicago, where he has lived and ministered for over five decades. A former public-school teacher and high school football coach, he is a professor at Northern Seminary and co-founder of the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA). Coach is married to Anne, and together they have three adult children. He and Anne have dedicated their lives to pursuing justice, building community, and helping the church live out the Kingdom of God in practical, everyday ways.
