Wayne Gretzky

WAYNE GRETZKY is known simply as "The Great One." He is the best-known hockey player in the world and the game's biggest celebrity. He not only changed the game, he singlehandedly changed the whole league and turned hockey into a premier sport in the United States. He has won Stanley Cups, Canada Cups, and a gold medal. He scored more assists than any other player has total points, and is the only player ever to score over 200 points in a season. There is simply no bigger name in the game, and quite possibly no bigger name in Canada.
