Timothy R. Smith

Timothy R Smith has spent his career writing music that fuses traditional and contemporary elements into songs that inspire and unite communities of all backgrounds. This broad approach can be readily found in the psalm collection, Forever I Will Sing, as well as his OCP publication, Mass of the Sacred Heart. Smith's music has a timeless quality that is moving and accessible for all congregations. In Fall of 2018, Smith released a new CD entitled, I Am With You Always, which features liturgical music that speaks equally to both worshipping communities and individuals alike. Some of Tim's other well-known liturgical compositions include: Give Me Ears To Listen, Changing Lives Together, Voice Of Christ, In The Breaking of the Bread, and Alleluia! Alleluia! Let the Holy Anthem Rise. Favorite psalm settings include In Every Age, Give Thanks to the Lord, and My God, My God.
