Stewart M. Green, a Colorado native, first climbed Pikes Peak in 1963 at age 10. He has written and photographed over 45 books for Falcon Guides, Globe Pequot Press, and Every Adventure Publishing. Stewart, a climbing guide for Front Range Climbing Company, regularly climbs and hikes on Pikes Peak.
