Shari Shattuck lives with her husband in the magnificent Pacific Northwest. She has starred in television, film, and theatre productions ranging from "Cabaret" to "On Deadly Ground." She turned to writing and has had seven books published by what they call, "the big five" in publishing houses, her favorite being "Invisible Ellen." She was inspired to write "The Shimmering Ones," by her love of nature and her childhood certainty that faeries are real. Now she lives in an enchanted forest and loves the rain and the seasons, especially winter, and she finally understands that everything, and everyone, is connected.
